An HMI for Air Traffic Flow and Capacity Management

Over a period of more than two years, my responsibilities at the European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL) covered extensive field studies to observe controllers at their positions in order to elicit and document user requirements in preparation of the overhaul of the human-machine interfaces (HMI) of EUROCONTROL's systems that support the europe-wide management of air traffic flows.

Providing the design and specifications for future versions of the user-interface of EUROCONTROL's Network Operations Portal (NOP), I contribute to the evolution of this web-based service and work closely with both the engineering and user relations departments.
